Mother and baby - Brisbane

I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again, photographing a mum and her bubb is absolutely devine. Under 1 year old is the BEST time to take portraits of your little one. They are usually not walking, they are usually cuddly, easily distracted, loves cameras! and are SUPER DOOPER CUTE. So if you have been thinking about it don’t wait too long because that time flies so fast and before you know it they’ll be a little boy or girl. Here is one of my favourite shoots with Caitlin & Dexter. Hope you enjoy. Bx

One of my favourites - North Brisbane Family Photography

Introducing my beautiful friends the Cutrupi’s! I love these guys so much. Tracy and I met a few years back and now I count her as one of my best friends. We bonded over our love of photography and the love for her two little cuties pies :) The sweetest little girls you have ever met and the most loving. What a privilege to take your friends portraits, it takes a lot of trust and vulnerability to be photographed and let go of all of your fears. I’m so glad you did because these are definitely some of my favourite family portraits i’ve ever done.

Love you 4 heaps!!!!

Lets do it again!

Golden Hour Family Shoot

{Brisbane Family Photographer}

When you want to announce to the world you are pregnant why not do it with a family photoshoot!!!  Amy got a flower crown for herself and little Millie to mark the occasion.  It added a little bit of fun and extra gorgeousness that felt right for a baby bump announcement.

Shooting outdoors is such a lovely experience for the kids, they really love being outside and there are plenty of things to capture their attention.  During the shoot I try and mix things up a bit for the kids, it just doesn't work doing portraits the whole time.  I find letting them explore for a few minutes on their own gives them a break and gives me an opportunity to get so pretty shots in the long grass.

Hope you enjoy this sweet family.  Can't wait to meet the new addition!!

Love in the mangroves {Brisbane Photographer}

It's hard to describe the vibes between Nick & Jesse but it was incredibly genuine and loving.  It was such a privilege to photograph Nice, Jesse, Finley and their gorgeous fur baby Iggy!  They were just being themselves, no posing involved at all - just lots of love and cuddles.  Having your family photograph taken doesn't have to be awkward my friends, just be yourself and let your connection tell the story.

I love families {Brisbane Photographer}

This family.  What can I say?

When I thought about photographing 3 children I have to admit I was a bit nervous.  I won't lie.

But I shouldn't of been nervous at all, Caitlin and Andy are THE most relaxed parents on the planet and because of that so were their kids.  If there is any advice I can give parents before their photoshoot, it would be to channel some CALM, it really helps a lot.  Your kids feed off you in a way that is quite amazing.  Im not saying the whole photoshoot went without a hitch, they never ever do, its part of photographing children......but it was a lot of fun and we were able to create some pretty fun images together.   Images that I am very very proud of.

Hope you enjoy this Blog post of the Kehoe family amongst the mangroves and beautiful long grass of Nudgee Beach in Brisbane's north.
